Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy (born November 25 in 1968) is a Canadian actor and a singer from Canada. She is most famous for her role in the role of Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor, on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the protagonist on Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She has also been acting in movies like RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted as well as independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was brought up in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat vendor and an executive in sales and marketing. This job required lots of travel, which resulted in frequent family relocations. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mom and secretary, died in 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener (Ontario) was involved in the raising of her daughter. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister. She is a writer for a Canadian magazine and host. Her ancestry is comprised of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian descent on her father's and most Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy and her sister were among the first to act as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's actress, claims she was nominated for Dana Scully, The X-Files role. She was also in the Dead Ringers series in 1988 as twin call girls. Dick Wolf signed Hennessy in 1993 as Claire Kincaid, an assistant district attorney, in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. She played the character for three seasons before she was fired in the year 1996.
