Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! She strongly feels linked to her Greek heritageand is fluent in Greek. Spiridakos started acting in her junior high school. She then attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting and within weeks landed her first television job, a small part on Supernatural. Spiridakos continued her work on television, playing walk-on roles in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos was a part of the TV movie Goblin and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos was also a part of Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast in her first lead role as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl, on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! In 2011, she made her feature film debut with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also produced Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller by Michael Greenspan. It starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and was directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags, which was a Nickelodeon original movie. The role of Charlotte Matheson who is a survivor living in a post-apocalyptic future civilization, was her main character in the NBC TV show Revolution. While attending her first pilot season, she was a candidate for this part. Spiridakos produced her pilot in Atlanta. The pilot season was filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. The actress was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance in the first season however she was defeated by Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna. The second season of the show was filming in Austin, Texas.
